We had a wedding lunch at SY Restaurant.
The food turn out to be quite meaty but we had piglet which were really crunchy.
Welcome to Batu Pahat
That night the host brought us to Thai food at Chok Dee restaurant... so by now you must have realised what a food journey it turn out to be.
Next day before traveling back, we tried out the famous Hainam kopitiam which was very near to our homestay. Simple menu ranging from otak-otak bread, the never fail half boiled eggs, hotdogs, nasi lemak...yeah not that many but they're good.
We then detoured to Muar the area famous for it's otak-otak. Saw this stretch of stalls selling those orange looking fish paste, so good eaten by itself or with rice/bread.
Till then see you for my next trip!
